FEED CHANNELS
We are able to offer a range of quality precast concrete feed channels suited to all ages of dairy and beef cattle, with multiple applications. The channels are all diet feeder compatible, thus helping to keep the feed clean and within the animals reach at all times and therefore minimise wastage. The channels are available with ends including one (Type A) with removable ends to aid cleaning out when required and another (Type D) with an animal friendly radius end.
Feed blocks used in conjunction with timber provide an alternative, cheaper and more flexible option to feed channels. The both types (single and double sided) come as standard with forklift recesses to enable safe and quick installation and repositioning. The single sided feed block was designed to be positioned beside an existing feed barrier to retain the feed, therefore keeping within the animals reach at all times, while the double sided enables filling using a feed wagon from one side and the animals feeding from the other. The 75mm wide timber slips into the recess in the block and can be assembled or dismantled quickly and safely as and when required.
