Precast concrete box culverts have a wide variety of uses including culverting of water courses, cattle underpasses, road crossings, pipe replacement, subways, sea outfalls, escape tunnels and service tunnels and are available as single units or multiple runs.

Box culverts can be installed quickly so as to minimise road closure and generally come with a 120 year design life.

The standard internal sizes range from 1m wide x 0.5m high to 5m wide x 2.5m high but other sizes may be available on request.

The culvert units are normally in 1.5m or 2m lengths.
